Terms of service
illusions.lol ("the service", "we") turns logos, 3D models, and mathematical shapes into spinning optical-illusion animations you can export and share. By using the service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.
1 · The service
The free tier lets you create illusions in the browser and export them as GIF or video with an illusions.lol watermark. The premium unlock is a one-time $19 payment that permanently removes the watermark from your exports and enables premium features such as remix share links. Prices are shown before checkout; payment is processed by Stripe.
Premium is a lifetime license for one person. It is tied to the email you pay with and can be restored on your other devices from that email. It is not transferable and may not be resold or shared publicly.
Your purchase covers the version of the service available at the time of purchase. If we later add substantially more resource-intensive capabilities (for example heavier rendering, higher-resolution output, or other features that materially increase our costs), we may offer them as a separate purchase or paid upgrade rather than including them in your existing unlock. Your original unlock and its features remain available to you.
2 · Your content
You keep all rights to what you upload (logos, SVGs, 3D models) and to the animations you export. You grant us only the technical permission needed to process your uploads and render your exports. We do not claim ownership of your work.
You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload. Don't feed the service trademarks, logos, or artwork you aren't authorized to use.
3 · Our content
The service itself (the site, the rendering engine, the design, and the code) is proprietary and protected by copyright. You may not copy, scrape, redistribute, decompile, or reverse engineer it, or use automated tools to extract or replicate it.
4 · Acceptable use
- No illegal content, and no content that infringes someone else's rights.
- No abusing the service's APIs, rate limits, or payment flow.
- No presenting exports in a way that claims illusions.lol endorses you or your brand.
5 · Photosensitivity warning
The animations produced by this service contain continuously moving, high-contrast patterns. A small percentage of people may experience discomfort or seizures when exposed to certain moving or flashing imagery. If you or your audience are photosensitive, use discretion when creating and sharing exports.
6 · Refund policy
The premium unlock is a digital product delivered instantly. If it doesn't work for you, technically or otherwise, email us at support@illusions.lol within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund you in full, no questions asked. Refunded unlocks are deactivated.
7 · Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, that exports will suit a particular purpose, or that any particular viewer will perceive an illusion flip, since perception varies by person.
8 · Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which is $19 at most, and $0 on the free tier). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9 · Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
10 · Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Questions, takedown requests, refunds: support@illusions.lol.
